Walrus Audio ARP-87 Obsidian (limited edition)

The Walrus Audio ARP-87 Obsidian Delay is a versatile and compact delay pedal with many possibilities and up to 1000ms of delay. The pedal contains four algorithms: digital, analog, lo-fi, and slap back. It features a digital delay that produces very clear echoes. In the analog mode, you get a slightly warmer delay that is less intrusive. With lo-fi, the echoes go from warm to AM radio, depending on the frequency you set. Finally, in the slap back mode, you get a vintage slapback echo commonly used in country music. This is a limited edition.

Additionally, the pedal has some handy features. It includes smart bypass switching, allowing you to choose between True or Buffered Bypass. The pedal has both a trails and a no trails mode. In the 'trails' mode, the effect naturally fades out when you turn it off with your foot. In the 'no trails' mode, they are immediately cut off.

With the X knob, you can adjust several functions depending on the program you choose. In the digital, analog, and slap back modes, you control the modulation depth. In the lo-fi mode, you adjust the range of the filter. Furthermore, the pedal has tap tempo, and by holding down this switch, you create an infinite delay.
