Are you a seasoned musician or just starting to play guitar? Finding the right instrument to suit you can make a massive difference. At Rock City Guitar Shop in Eindhoven, we offer a unique range of second-hand guitars, as well as second-hand guitar amps and guitar effects. This is a chance to buy quality musical instruments and save some money at the same time. At the same time, we have a range of second-hand guitars that are truly unique and you won't find anywhere new, genuine vintage guitars. We would like to invite you to try out the second-hand instruments on this page in our shop in Eindhoven.
Why a used guitar?
There are many reasons to choose a second-hand acoustic guitar or second-hand electric guitar. One important reason is, of course, value for money. Second-hand guitars, amplifiers and effects often offer excellent quality at a lower price than new ones. This allows you to buy an instrument of a quality that might normally be out of your budget. All guitars at Rock City Guitar Shop have been thoroughly checked and inspected by us.
Then, of course, you also have the vintage factor. Old guitars and amps often have a characteristic sound that is difficult to replicate with a modern instrument. Over time, the materials and also the way they are built have often been changed or modernised. A second-hand acoustic guitar is already played in and often has a very open sound. For example, a guitar from the 60s or 70s has a certain warmth or resonance that you don't easily find on new instruments. Also, many people often find a vintage guitar simply more beautiful. The wear and tear, the craquelé in the finish and some kind of story the instrument tells make it truly unique. This is also a reason why so-called relic guitars are still popular.
Used guitars
In our collection of used guitars, you will find electric and acoustic guitars. We offer used guitars from well-known brands such as Fender, Gibson and Eastman. All second-hand guitars that are traded in with us are first carefully checked by us for defects and playability. So you can rest assured that you will always buy a high-quality instrument without worrying about potential problems.
Our collection of second-hand guitars varies greatly. Sometimes we have a gorgeous vintage Fender Stratocaster hanging, other times we might have a young used Gibson Les Paul. So be sure to come back regularly to check out our collection! Also for second-hand acoustic guitars, we always have different models, from dreadnoughts to parlors, for every budget.
Used guitar amps
A good quality amplifier is of course very important for your sound. That is why we also offer a good selection of second-hand amps, both tube and transistor amps for guitar and bass. Are you looking for a new companion for performing live or are you looking for a small amplifier for at home? Then be sure to discover the second-hand amplifiers at Rock City Guitar Shop.
Used guitar effects
Guitar effects have become a crucial part of many guitarists' sound. Good effects help take your sound to the next level. At Rock City Guitar Shop, we always have several used effect pedals in stock. Are you looking for a classic overdrive, or do you want a good chorus or delay? The second-hand pedals in our range have been tested by us and work as you would expect them to.
A visit to Rock City Guitar Shop is definitely worth it
Shopping online is convenient of course, but to experience the real sound of a guitar or amplifier, we think a visit to our physical shop is crucial. Especially when it comes to a second-hand instrument, we advise you to at least come and ‘feel’ it. In our shop you can feel how a guitar feels in your hands, see what it looks like in real life, listen to how it sounds and find out if it is really what you are looking for. We are also happy to help you find the guitar or amplifier that suits you best. We would like to invite you for an extensive test drive and a cup of coffee!
Besides trying instruments, you can also come to our shop for maintenance and repair. With more than 40 years of experience, we are happy to help you get your instrument back in working order.
