The pedal that revolutionized reverb sounds has been further developed and has only gotten better! An analog JFET input has been added, along with full MIDI functionality and a Tone Shaping feature, which we'll discuss later. The JFET input is a big deal because it directly enhances dynamics and brings improved touch sensitivity - perfect for any guitarist. This is thanks to the discrete/separate class A preamp designed for instruments with a high impedance curve, like electric guitars.
Renewed ARM processor and Tone Shaping functionality
Significant advancements in the smartphone industry and computers have enabled multiple tasks to be executed simultaneously with less power. This technology is found in the Strymon BlueSky V2. Less power consumption with more focus on sonic detail. As mentioned, the Tone Shaping feature is also a significant addition compared to the original. The 'Mod' knob brings two different modulation intensities, namely 'light' or 'deep', or no modulation when set to 'off'. The 'Shimmer' knob is also new; create atmospheric effects with an octave above the original input signal. The 'Pre-Delay' knob gives you control over the time it takes before the reverb effect is reached.
