The Martin MA4850 Authentic Acoustic SP strings for acoustic bass guitar in a 'Medium' gauge are awesome. These strings are made with new materials that make them less prone to breaking. Martin used their highest tensile strength core wire and tin-plated it, providing extra corrosion resistance.
