The TS808 is a coveted distortion pedal from Ibanez, known for its warm and natural sound reminiscent of a tube overdrive. Since the 1970s, there have been some adjustments made to modernize the pedal. Now, Ibanez is releasing a reissue of the original TS808, with the exact same chip and wiring as the original release for enthusiasts who desire the sound of the first Tube Screamer.
Controls of the TS808:
The TS808 features tone, level, and overdrive knobs. With the tone knob, you can add more treble and bite, or conversely, reduce them. The level adjusts the volume level of the distortion relative to your original signal. With the overdrive knob, you can adjust the amount of distortion. The TS808 has a FET soft-touch footswitch that doesn't produce any clicking or popping sounds when turning the pedal on or off.
