The Gibson classic rises from the ashes. Over the past 60 years, the Gibson SG Standard 61 Maestro Vibrola has become the definitive symbol of rock n' roll. With its archetypal devil-horned body shape, it is an instrument dragged from the highway to hell and dropped straight into the guitar universe—experience the phenomenon. Experience the classic SG sound. Expertly crafted from the finest mahogany and rosewood with a full, deep sound that perfectly embodies rock music. Played by Angus Young of AC/DC and Pete Townsend of The Who, so it is no wonder that this guitar is the favorite of some of the most influential guitarists of all time. Play thunderous solos and riffs and raise some hell—a monster of a guitar.
